Hardware:
All Doors can take most residential hardware. The door hardware can be installed on site. Full fitting Instructions are supplied.

Storage and Handling:
Doors should be stored in a dry well ventilated area away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. Doors should be stored of the ground.

Finishing:
Fit Easy Doors recommend that you have your doors professionally finished. If you wish to finish your doors yourself please consult a paint professional for advice. We recommend you do not finish Exterior and Designer Tempered Hardboard Entrance Doors in dark tones as this increases the risk of excessive heat uptake from direct or reflected sunlight wich may result in undesirable timber movement e.g. bowing, twisting etc. These Doors must be sealed and primed on all our faces before finishing and installation. when finishing interior doors, all four edges must be sealed. staining, blonding or linseed oil must not be used on any interior doors. A maximum of 3mm may be trimmed from any door edge. Normal "show-through" of frame components in doors shall not be cinsidered a defect. All entrance and solid core must be hinged with three dhinges. Entrance doors should be hung in weather protected areas. Immediately after fitting, and prior to hanging, the entire door, including the top and bottom edges, must receive two coats of paint, or sealer to prevent the absorbtion of moisture. Semi-gloss or satin finishes are reccommended for all doors to reduce "show through". exterior finishes applied strictly in accordance with manufacturer' instructions shal be used on entrance doors. doors exposed to direct weather conditions should be finished with light colours to reduce the risk of heat distortion which maw cause warping. Dark colours may void guarantee. Both faces should be provided to prevent deterioration.

Care and Maintenance:
The finish of your doors must be maintained regulary according to finished manufacturer's instructions. Dust regulary and wipe dowm with a damp cloth. Repair any scratches to the finish of the decorative appearance or protective finish. Where doors are installed in an area subjected to occassional dampness (e.g. bathroom) and scratches to the finish must be repaired immediately. all maintenance or clear finishing must be in accordance with the instructions of the coating manufacturer.

Glazing:
All Glazed doors must be installed with screw holls of the glazing unit facing the interior of the home. Screw holes must be fitted using a paintable silicone sealant, acrylic fill or the factory fitted caps.

Non Standards:
Exterior Designer and Tempered Hardboard Entrance Doors can be manufactured within a width range of 310mm to 1180mm and with a height range of 1200mm to 2400mm. All flush panel hollow and solid core interior doors can be manufactured within the width range or 310mm to 1200mm and a height of 1200mm to 2400mm.
